MEET BRANDON

Brandon Phelps is a life long Southern Illinoisan. He understands the values of our communities and will always stand up for our families.

Brandon understands the need to bring home our fair share of education funding from Springfield and fight against wasteful Chicago bailouts. Brandon is committed to making sure our kids are safe and given the opportunities to succeed, find good paying jobs and, one day, raise their own families here.

To put Southern Illinoisans back to work, Phelps has fought burdensome regulations on the coal industry, opposed tax giveaways to the wealthy and well connected and is working to close corporate tax loopholes and keep companies from sending jobs oversees. Phelps has also stood up to Governor Rauner and his devastating cuts to vital women’s healthcare and programs that protect seniors and their ability to live independently in their own homes.

Our individual liberties and 2nd Amendment rights are sacred and concealed carry is the law of the land in Illinois thanks to Brandon Phelps’ leadership. Phelps was the sponsor of the state’s new law allowing law-abiding citizens to protect themselves, their families and their property.

Brandon led the effort to stop the governor’s closure of the Hardin County Work Camp; he won’t sit by while Rauner cuts our jobs, destroys our businesses and disrespects our way of life.

Southern Illinois is home to Brandon Phelps and home will always be worth fighting for; he’ll never stop fighting for us.

Dignity for Darlings is an outstanding program that provides children transitioning into foster care with duffel bags filled with toiletry necessities, school supplies and comfort items that they can call their own amid such a frightening and uncertain time in their lives. I am humbly proud to donate to their great cause.

Please be aware of this program and feel free to donate yourself to lend a helping hand to these kids when they need it the most.
